Sam Bhembe is a seasoned executive and governance professional with over 25 years of experience in banking, development finance, and strategic advisory. He has held senior roles at Nedbank, including Managing Executive for Nedbank Africa and Head of Corporate Strategy, and served as Executive Vice President at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).

He brings extensive board experience, having chaired and served on boards across the public and private sectors, including the Nedbank Foundation, National Film and Video Foundation, and African Business News 360 (CNBC Africa & Forbes Africa).

Sam holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management, and a BA Honours in Economics. He is passionate about inclusive development, ethical governance, and using innovation to drive meaningful social change.
